The hiking dog - Sir Henry takes to the Alps

June 24^th,2007 – The excitement never stops, I can hardly catch my breath. After a few wonderful weeks of resting, eating, walking, resting, eating, walking … well you get the idea …. It was time for another trip. This time we took off to Salzburg in Austria and got to stay in a Bed & Breakfast especially for Dogs and their human companions. That is a very good thing, as despite food and lodging for me, they also feed these two-legged creatures their breakfast, have beds for them and so on. Very handy!

So we went walking a lot and you must know by now, how much I love walking in nature. Huge mountains, steep climbs, large green meadows, even a cable-car was there (and I got to ride it). I met many new animals too, which is kind of fun, because most of them are way bigger than I am and are also very curious. Sometimes Mike and Claudia got concerned for me, don’t know why – I was not afraid of anything. So here are a few impressions from that great vacation.
